Ixora is a genus of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae. Though native to the tropical and subtropical areas throughout the world, its centre of diversity is in Tropical Asia. The plants possess leathery leaves, ranging from 3 to 6 inches in length, and produce large clusters of tiny flowers in the summer.
Watering
Water the plant regularly, with a deep soaking about once a week and less during the winter, and keep the soil moist but not dripping wet.
Lights
Ixoras prefer full sun to light shade. They will bloom more profusely in high light.
