Native to Florida Southwestern United States and Mexico. Mandevillas develop spectacular, often fragrant yellow flowers in warm climates. Flowers are about 2-3 inches across. Leaves are oblonge and often abscised in winter. Grows well in summer.
Watering
In very hot spells, however, water the mandevilla daily. Watering more often stimulates growth, but standing water is deadly for a mandevilla. No water should remain in pots and bowls after watering.
