Tecoma is a genus of 14 species of shrubs or small trees in the trumpet vine family, Bignoniaceae. Twelve species are from the Americas, while the other two species are African.
Watering
In summer the watering is moderate, in hot weather, up to 3 times a week. The top layers of the soil between watering should dry up. In winter, watering is reduced, especially at low storage temperatures. The plant does not require abundant fertilizer.
Lights
When growing in your garden, make sure to plant the trumpet bush at a site where it receives at least six hours of sunlight every day.
